Product FAQ

Is warm mist safe with children at home?

In warm mist mode the water is heated. Place the unit steadily where children and pets can't reach it, don't touch the nozzle while it's running and let it cool before moving or cleaning it. With children in the room, cool mode is the safe choice.

Will there be white dust?

There can be. Ultrasonic humidifiers spread minerals from the water, and with hard tap water a fine white dust can settle around the unit. Aim the mist away from furniture and electronics and clean the tank regularly.

What humidity should I aim for?

Indoors, 40–60 % relative humidity usually feels comfortable. With the radiators on in winter, indoor air can drop to 20–30 %. Set the level you want and let the humidity sensor do the work – above 60 % is rarely needed and can cause condensation on cold windows.

Do I need to change filters?

The ceramic filter is reusable and can be cleaned as the manual describes.

How do I clean it?

Empty the water and let the parts dry when you're not using it. Clean the tank and filter about once a week as the manual describes – with water and a soft brush, and descale when needed. Never leave old water standing for days.

Description

A white, smart humidifier with a humidity sensor that you control from the panel or your phone. Moist C emits on average 370 ml/h according to Wilfa, and the 4.3-litre tank is filled from the top – straight into the tank or with the tank lifted out.

The built-in sensor follows the humidity and holds the level you've chosen. In the WiLife app you set the humidity you want and follow the level in the room. There are three speeds, adjustable mist direction, night mode and a timer of up to 12 hours.

You choose cool or warm mist. Cool mist doesn't condense on cold windows as easily; warm mode heats the water – choose cool if you have small children. A reusable ceramic filter softens the water, and the unit switches off when the water runs out or the tank is lifted off.
