Product FAQ

Will there be white dust?

There can be. Ultrasonic humidifiers spread minerals from the water, and with hard tap water a fine white dust can settle around the unit. Aim the mist away from furniture and electronics and clean the tank regularly.

Is the mist warm? Can it stand in a child's room?

The mist is cool – the water isn't heated. Still, place it steadily, out of reach of small children, and unplug it before lifting off the tank or cleaning it.

What humidity should I aim for?

Indoors, 40–60 % relative humidity usually feels comfortable. With the radiators on in winter, indoor air can drop to 20–30 %. Set the level you want and let the humidity sensor do the work – above 60 % is rarely needed and can cause condensation on cold windows.

Are there more colours?

Here Neo is sold in black.

How do I clean it?

Empty the water and let the parts dry when you're not using it. Clean the tank and filter about once a week as the manual describes – with water and a soft brush, and descale when needed. Never leave old water standing for days.

Description

A clean-lined humidifier on wooden legs that hides a large tank. Duux Neo holds 5 litres, emits up to 500 ml/h and suits rooms up to 50 m², with up to 16 hours of running per fill according to Duux.

A single button starts it and changes speed, and the built-in hygrostat holds the humidity. In the Duux app you schedule and set the level you want, and it can be controlled with a voice assistant. The timer goes up to 8 hours, and night mode can be dimmed.

It's filled from the top without lifting out any tank. A replaceable anti-limescale filter is included. The ultrasonic element is designed to be replaced by you with a twist, so the unit lasts longer.
