Thresholds and rug edges

Many robots give up at a threshold. This one actively raises itself and climbs over thresholds and thick rugs, so it covers more of your home before you get back.

It finds the hidden dirt

DirtDetect senses where there is more debris, raises suction and drives in figure eights over the area until it finds no more – under the dining table or by the hall mat, for example.

60 days between emptying

After every clean the robot empties its bin into the base. The base has no bag and holds up to 60 days of dirt according to Shark, and an Anti-Odour cartridge keeps the smell inside.

  • ★★★★★Best purchase ever

Ian Shark is the best thing I've ever bought. Cleans up everything everywhere perfectly. Easy to set up and maintain. It took me a little while and a few redos to map my house, but once it was done he is working smoothly. Would be nice if you could adjust the map manually and if it had a multiple floors option. The self empty station works very well and the odour capsule smells good. Cannot recommend enough. It doesn't have a mopping option but if you don't really need that, this is a really good option for you.

  • ★★★★★Brilliant for everyday maintenance

I love my little robot. It was quite easy to set up - I didn't have any connection issues - and it then mapped our main downstairs area pretty effectively. Now every couple of days I just press clean on the app and off it goes, keeping dust and pet hair levels down and saving me a lot of time. It does occasionally get clogged up and you have to remove the filter and empty manually but not a big deal. Ideally it would be good to be able to map more than one zone, upstairs and downstairs for example, but in the meantime you can just put it in a room you want vacuumed and press clean on the machine.

  • ★★★★★So pleased we bought this product!

Great vacuum - very thorough! We all love this as it has saved us so much time. After the first go round the house the dog even steps out of its way quietly now allowing it to crack on with its job! It is very efficient and makes light work of kitchen mess, even when there are splashes on the floor it still picks up. Gets rid of dog hair with ease and ash by the fireplace with no trouble. I wish we had got this ages ago and I have no hesitation in giving it 5* and a glowing review - thank you Shark for a product that does what it says it will do!

  • ★★★★★Really pleased

So pleased with Mrs Overall (as it's affectionately known). We were sceptical at first but a scheduled vacuum every other day is keeping the floors (a combination of solid wood and rugs) dust and pet fur free. We have a step between one room and another but the robot manages to climb it every time (after a few attempts). It keeps the dog entertained as well! The only thing that would be good would be the ability to have more than one map - one for upstairs and one for down so we could swap between floors.

I absolutely love this little gem! So easy to set up and it does an amazing job of my carpet and hard floors too.

Product FAQ

Can it mop?

No, this model vacuums. If you also want mopping, the Shark Matrix Plus and PowerDetect 2-in-1 models are options.

Does the base need bags?

No, the base is bagless. You empty the container into the bin when it's full.

Do I need the app?

The robot starts with the button on top, but maps, schedules, room select and no-go zones are set in the free SharkClean app. It needs 2.4 GHz wifi.

Does it handle several floors?

The map is saved for one floor. You can carry the robot upstairs and let it clean without a map, but it is most thorough on the floor you have mapped.

How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Delivery options and times are on our Delivery page. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a 3-year right to complain – see the Returns page.

Description

A robot vacuum that empties itself. After every clean it empties its dust bin into the charging base, which holds up to 60 days of dust and debris without a bag according to Shark. You only need to empty the base now and then.

Three sensors steer the cleaning: DirtDetect senses dirtier areas, raises suction and drives in figure eights over them until the dirt is gone. EdgeDetect blows debris out of edges and corners, and FloorDetect adapts to carpets and hard floors. NeverStuck technology lifts the robot over thresholds and thick rugs so it doesn't get stuck.

360° LiDAR maps your home. In the SharkClean app you set schedules, choose rooms and draw no-go zones. The Anti Hair Wrap brush roll picks up pet hair without tangling, and an Anti-Odour cartridge in the base keeps smells in check. This model vacuums – it doesn't mop.
