When the dog sheds and the cat tracks litter

With pets at home, hair and grit come back every day. QV 35A can run on a schedule while you're out: the rubber brush moves hair out to the ends instead of wrapping it around itself, and the dust is emptied automatically into the dock when the robot comes home.

Rugs get vacuumed, floors get mopped

When the robot drives onto a rug it lifts the mops and increases suction. Hard floors get both vacuuming and mopping with two rotating mops. In the app you set the floor type per room, and the robot adjusts water flow and suction.

One dock for the upkeep

The dock washes the mops in three steps and dries them with air, empties the dust into a bag and refills the robot's water tank. The cleaning tray and the dock base come off when you want to clean them.

It's been seven days since I bought the Roborock QRevo 35A and I'm honestly really happy. I came from an old basic robot vacuum, so the step up in quality has been huge. First of all, the suction is incredibly strong: I have two cats at home and it picks up their fur and litter perfectly. It does a surprisingly good job on the rugs too. The floor cleaning was what interested me most, and after a week I can say it's more useful than I thought. The two rotating mop pads remove light stains well (like footprints or dirt left by the animals), and the automatic lifting is perfect: I no longer have to worry about it soaking the rugs. Mapping the house with the LiDAR system was quick and accurate. After the first scan I could customise the rooms and choose times and cleaning areas in the app, which is very intuitive. The base station is convenient: it empties the dustbin and washes the mops, so I don't need to step in every day. For now, completely happy. We'll see how it holds up in the long run, but the first impression is great. Highly recommended for those who, like me, don't like cleaning and have pets.

Never without it again! I looked at different models for a long time and after reading up I decided on the Roborock Q Revo, and I couldn't have made a better choice. When it arrived, installation was very simple and intuitive. The app is very well designed and makes it easy to set the robot up for every need. The robot automatically did a very thorough mapping; I only added a few pieces of furniture and no-go zones so it doesn't go where the cables are under the furniture. I bought it because I have a dog at home that sheds a lot, and I had to vacuum several times a day, which took a lot of time. This robot has literally saved me! Maintenance isn't constant – it's enough to change the water once a week and change the dust bag now and then (for me it was every three to four weeks, despite all my dog's fur). A lifesaver. I wish I had bought it sooner!

For me it's great! I had been thinking for a long time about buying a robot vacuum that also cleans the floors. It was hard to decide, because it wasn't easy to find one that met my needs, but then the Roborock QV 35A caught my attention. What can I say – it's fantastic. I have moved the station several times and the robot has always found it straight away. Very effective at mapping and then cleaning according to the set programme. The programme that vacuums and washes at the same time is great! Halfway through it goes back to clean and wash the mops. It can make a 3D map of its surroundings and avoid obstacles while cleaning. The brushes lift if it comes across a rug – a feature you can switch off if you want it to avoid rugs as obstacles. When cleaning is finished the robot automatically returns to the charging station, empties the dustbin and goes on to wash and dry the mops. It automatically returns to the base even if the battery isn't enough to finish the job, and resumes cleaning once it has charged. Last but not least, you can schedule cleaning for a set time and control it remotely through the handy app.

Product FAQ

What's the difference between white and black?

Only the colour. The features and the contents of the box are the same.

Does the dock dry the mops?

Yes, with air. The mops rotate now and then while drying so they dry evenly, and the cleaning tray is dried at the same time.

Does the cleaning tray need looking after?

Yes, the tray scrapes the dirt off the mops and needs to be taken out and rinsed regularly. It comes off without tools.

Where should the dock go?

On a hard, level floor against a wall, with free space of about 90 cm high, 40 cm wide and 1.2 m in front.

Can it climb thresholds?

According to Roborock it climbs thresholds and bumps up to 2 cm.

Description

Clean floors without lifting a finger in between. QV 35A vacuums and mops with two rotating mops, and the dock empties the dust, refills water, washes the mops and air-dries them.

Suction is 8,000 Pa according to Roborock. The main brush is all rubber with a spiral pattern that moves hair out to the ends, and the arc-shaped side brush is built to reduce tangling – good with pets and long hair.

The robot maps with LiDAR and remembers up to four floors. Structured light helps it steer around things on the floor, it climbs thresholds up to 2 cm and lifts the mops when it drives onto a rug.

In the app you set rooms, floor type, water flow and schedule, and the robot itself suggests no-go zones where it risks getting stuck.
