What is the difference between Osmo Mobile 7 and 7P?

Osmo Mobile 7P also has a multifunctional module with tracking without DJI Mimo, gesture control, lighting and reception for DJI Mic Mini, plus a control wheel for zoom and focus.

Which phones fit?

The phone attaches with a magnetic clamp. The new OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 5 (sold separately) fits the gimbal and phones 67–84 mm wide, 6.9–11 mm thick and weighing 170–300 g.

Do I need the app?

The gimbal stabilises without an app. For ActiveTrack, guides and editing you use DJI Mimo.

DJI Osmo Mobile 7 keeps your phone video steady. The 3-axis gimbal smooths out shakes when you walk, run after the kids or film on your travels, and ActiveTrack 7.0 keeps the subject in frame via the DJI Mimo app.

The phone attaches with a magnetic clamp, and the gimbal unfolds and starts straight away. A built-in extension rod and a tripod in the handle give you both selfie angles and hands-free filming.

The battery lasts up to 10 hours according to DJI and can also charge your phone. DJI Mimo has guides, timelapse, panorama, dynamic zoom and one-tap editing.
