Take out Neo 2 at the birthday fika or on the evening walk, let it take off from your hand and follow you. It films in 4K with slow motion and vertical 2.7K, and comes back to your hand when you are done.

Fly in first-person view

With DJI Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3 you see the world from the drone and steer with hand movements. Goggles and motion control need the Neo 2 Digital Transceiver, which is included in Motion Fly More and the Fly More Combo.

The Fly More kits have three batteries and a two-way charging hub. You can also charge the drone directly with USB-C.

Product FAQ

Do I need to register or get a drone licence?

DJI Neo 2 is class C0. Because it has a camera, you must register as a drone operator with the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen) and label the drone with your operator ID before you fly. No training is required for C0, but read the manual and follow the open-category rules: max 120 m altitude, visual line of sight and never over crowds. Always check where you may fly, for example near airports and in nature reserves, and respect other people's privacy when filming.

What is the difference between the four kits?

Drone only has one battery and is flown from your hand, with gestures, voice or the app. Fly More without RC has three batteries and a two-way charging hub. The Fly More Combo adds the RC-N3 controller and the digital transceiver. Motion Fly More instead has DJI Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3, plus the transceiver, three batteries and the charging hub.

Can I use goggles with the Drone only kit?

Yes, but then you need the DJI Neo 2 Digital Transceiver, which mounts on the drone. It is sold separately.

Do I need a memory card?

No, Neo 2 has 49 GB of internal storage. With QuickTransfer you move the files to your phone at up to 80 MB/s.

Can I take the batteries on a plane?

The batteries are lithium batteries (DJI Neo 2 Intelligent Flight Battery). Under 100 Wh they can normally travel in hand luggage, but not in checked baggage. Discharge them to about 30 %, protect the terminals and always check your airline's rules before you travel.

Description

DJI Neo 2 is a 151 g drone that fits in your pocket. Hold it out on your palm, let it take off and film you – when you are done it finds its way back to your hand with Return-to-Palm. You control it with hand gestures, your voice, the DJI Fly app or a controller.

With ActiveTrack, Neo 2 follows you in eight directions at up to 12 m/s while you run, cycle or hike. Obstacle sensing works all around (360°), and the propeller guards cover all rotors, so you can fly indoors and close to people.

The camera has a 1/2-inch 12 MP sensor and a 2-axis gimbal with electronic stabilisation. You film in 4K/60 fps, in 4K/100 fps for slow motion or vertically in 2.7K straight for social media. 49 GB of internal storage and QuickTransfer at up to 80 MB/s mean you rarely need to think about storage.

Flight time is up to 19 minutes per battery according to DJI. Choose the drone only, Fly More with three batteries and a charging hub, the Fly More Combo with the RC-N3 controller, or Motion Fly More with DJI Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3 for flying in first-person view.
