One camera for landscapes, one for portraits

The wide-angle with a 1-inch sensor captures big views and handles evening light. The 70 mm tele camera gives a compressed perspective that suits portraits, cars and details in the landscape.

Safer when the light fades

The forward LiDAR sensor and the ToF sensor underneath complement the all-round cameras, so obstacle sensing also works in the evening. Smart RTH remembers the route and brings the drone home even if you took off without GPS.

Choose a kit for how much you fly

With RC-N3 you get the drone, one battery and the controller. The Fly More Combo has three batteries, a charging hub, a shoulder bag and ND filters, and comes with RC-N3 or with DJI RC 2, which has a built-in screen.

Product FAQ

Do I need to register or get a drone licence?

DJI Air 3S is class C1. You must register as a drone operator with the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen), label the drone with your operator ID and pass the agency's online A1/A3 training and test before you fly. Follow the open-category rules: max 120 m altitude, visual line of sight and never over crowds. Always check where you may fly, for example near airports and in nature reserves, and respect other people's privacy when filming.

What is the difference between the kits?

With RC-N3: the drone, the RC-N3 controller with cables, one battery, propellers, gimbal cover and a USB-C cable. The Fly More Combo adds two more batteries (three in total), a charging hub, extra propellers, a shoulder bag and an ND filter kit (ND8/32/128). With RC 2 the controller has its own screen; with RC-N3 you use your phone as the screen.

Do I need a memory card?

Air 3S has 42 GB of built-in storage, so you can start filming right away. If you want more space you can use a fast microSD card.

Can I transfer files without powering on the drone?

Yes. According to DJI you can transfer files wirelessly to your phone or via USB to your computer even when the drone is switched off.

Can I take the batteries on a plane?

The batteries are lithium batteries (DJI Air 3S Intelligent Flight Battery). Under 100 Wh they can normally travel in hand luggage, but not in checked baggage. Discharge them to about 30 %, protect the terminals and always check your airline's rules before you travel.

Description

DJI Air 3S is a dual-camera drone for those who travel and want detailed images. The main camera has a 1-inch 50 MP sensor with a 24 mm focal length, and the second is a 70 mm 48 MP medium tele equivalent to three times zoom. According to DJI both offer up to 14 stops of dynamic range.

You film in 4K/60 fps HDR or 4K/120 fps, in 10-bit D-Log M or HLG, and can take panoramas with both cameras. Vertical 2.7K, MasterShots, QuickShots and Hyperlapse are built in, and subject focus keeps the subject sharp even when it moves away from the centre.

All-round obstacle sensing, a forward LiDAR sensor and a downward ToF sensor let it see obstacles even in low light. Smart RTH maps the route during the flight and can find its way home even when you took off without a GPS signal, for example from a balcony.

According to DJI, Air 3S flies for up to 45 minutes and has a 20 km range with O4. It has 42 GB of built-in storage, and you can transfer files to your phone or computer even when the drone is switched off.
