Wide-angle for the landscape, tele for the detail

The wide-angle captures the whole mountain lake, and the 70 mm tele camera compresses the perspective so that a cabin or a boat stands out against the background. Both cameras have the same sensor size, so the clips match when you edit.

Product FAQ

Do I need to register or get a drone licence?

DJI Air 3 is class C1. You must register as a drone operator with the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen), label the drone with your operator ID and pass the agency's online A1/A3 training and test before you fly. Follow the open-category rules: max 120 m altitude, visual line of sight and never over crowds. Always check where you may fly, for example near airports and in nature reserves, and respect other people's privacy when filming.

What is in the Fly More Combo?

DJI Air 3, the RC-N2 controller with cables, three Intelligent Flight batteries, a charging hub, six pairs of low-noise propellers, a gimbal cover, a USB-C cable, a quick start guide and a shoulder bag.

Do I need a phone to fly?

Yes. The RC-N2 has no screen of its own, so you mount your phone on the controller and use the DJI Fly app as the screen.

Is it suitable for a beginner?

The all-round obstacle sensing and APAS 5.0 make it forgiving to fly, and Return To Home plans the way back. Still, start in an open space until you feel confident.

Can I take the batteries on a plane?

The batteries are lithium batteries (DJI Air 3 Intelligent Flight Battery). Under 100 Wh they can normally travel in hand luggage, but not in checked baggage. Discharge them to about 30 %, protect the terminals and always check your airline's rules before you travel.

Description

DJI Air 3 has two cameras in the same gimbal: a 24 mm wide-angle and a 70 mm medium tele that gives three times zoom. Both have a 1/1.3-inch sensor, take 48 MP stills and film in 4K/60 fps HDR or 4K/100 fps, so you can switch perspective without giving up image quality.

According to DJI, Air 3 flies for up to 46 minutes on one battery. Obstacle sensors all around the drone and APAS 5.0 help it get around obstacles, and O4 transmission gives a stable 1080p/60 fps live view on the controller.

You can film vertically in 2.7K straight for social media, record in 10-bit D-Log M or HLG and plan routes with waypoints that the drone can fly again and again – for example for a day-to-evening timelapse. Spotlight 2.0, ActiveTrack 5.0 and Point of Interest 3.0 handle the camera when you follow a subject.

The Fly More Combo with RC-N2 has three batteries, a charging hub, six pairs of propellers and a shoulder bag, so you can fly for a long time without looking for a socket.
