How to use it

Put the reeds in the glass and let the scent build up over a few days. There is no need to flip them. When the liquid runs out, switch to new reeds as you refill.

How long does it last?

According to Skandinavisk 200 ml lasts for up to three months. How long it lasts for you depends on how many reeds you use and how warm and draughty the room is.

Should I flip the reeds?

No, there is no need. For a stronger scent, add more reeds.

Can I use other reeds or another glass?

Skandinavisk recommends using only their glass and the reeds supplied – otherwise scent and lifetime may suffer.

Is the liquid safe on furniture?

Avoid spills – the fragrance can mark wood, lacquer and fabrics. A coaster under the glass is a good idea.

How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Tea, apple and cinnamon – just what a dark afternoon needs. HYGGE means “cosiness” in Danish, and the scent is built on black tea and mint leaves, dried apples and a dusting of baked cinnamon. The diffuser scents the room all the time, without a flame.

The alcohol-free fragrance sits in a painted glass with eight reeds and a beechwood ring. The more reeds you use, the stronger the scent. Give it a few days to get going – there is no need to flip the reeds. According to Skandinavisk 200 ml lasts for up to three months.

When it runs out, refill the glass, or use it as a small vase for wildflowers.
