Two layers, one dinner

Put rice, couscous or pasta with water at the bottom. Fit the plate in the upper position and add vegetables and chicken on top. The steam cooks the grains while air frying crisps what's on top.

Or simply an air fryer

Move the plate to the lower position and switch to convection mode with the SmartSwitch. Then you air fry, grill and bake as in a regular air fryer – chicken wings, potato wedges or a cake.

Easy to clean

The 5.7 l pot is non-stick, and both pot and plate are dishwasher safe.

I love my Speedi, purchased 7 weeks ago. Since it arrived I have used it daily and all functions. I baked a Christmas cake, made a few Speedi rapid meals including cooking rice and pasta, slow cooked ham, grilled croque monsieur, made a full English breakfast, air fried crumpet turnover wraps and made a delicious beef roast on Dehydrate. I actually fought (myself) against buying an air fryer as I have a combination microwave, but Speedi is now my first love!

How does a Speedi meal work?

You put grains and water at the bottom, the plate high, and protein and vegetables on top. The programme then steams and air fries at once.

Can it replace an air fryer?

Yes. In convection mode it air fries, grills and bakes like a regular air fryer.

How much does it hold?

The pot holds 5.7 l. According to Ninja, a Speedi meal feeds a family, for example four chicken breasts with pasta and broccoli.

Description

Rice or pasta at the bottom, vegetables and chicken on the plate above – and the whole dinner is ready at the same time. Speedi combines steam and air frying, so the grains turn tender while the chicken gets a crisp surface.

According to Ninja, a Speedi meal takes about 15 minutes, excluding preheating. With the SmartSwitch you change between rapid cooker mode (steam and air fry) and convection/hob mode, where you air fry, grill, bake, dehydrate, sear and slow cook.

The 5.7 l pot is non-stick and dishwasher safe. The adjustable plate sits high for two-layer meals or low for regular air frying.
