The Ninja ProChef is a game changer when used with other Ninja products. First time using it was with a topside beef joint, 60 °C internal temperature needed for medium. Popped the probe into the joint, then popped it all into the FlexDrawer, roasted at 160 °C until my phone said it was done, turned the beef halfway through. Absolutely brilliant, next joint with the probe will be sous vide.

Do I need a Ninja appliance?

No. The thermometer works with almost any equipment: oven, grill, smoker, air fryer and frying pan. With a Ninja appliance you also get tailored instructions in the app.

Does the app work in Sweden?

Yes. According to Ninja the thermometer and app are approved for use in Sweden and most EU countries. The app is free for iOS and Android.

How do I charge it?

Put the probe in the charging dock. The dock runs on an AAA battery, which is included.

Can I wash the probe?

Yes, the probe is waterproof. Wash it by hand after use.

How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Description

Stop guessing when the roast is done. Ninja ProChef is a wireless meat thermometer you push into the meat and then follow on your phone – the Ninja Pro Connect app tells you when it's time to take the food out.

The probe has two sensors: one measures the internal temperature of the meat, the other the temperature around it. With up to 50 metres of Bluetooth range you can cook the rest of the meal or spend time with your guests while the roast looks after itself.

It works in the oven, air fryer, grill and smoker, on the hob and outdoors. HeatShield lets the probe take up to 370 °C, and the battery lasts up to 30 hours – enough for a slow cook. With Ninja Companion you pick your Ninja appliance in the app and get tailored instructions.

The stainless steel probe is waterproof and can be washed. It charges in a small dock (15.4 × 4.4 × 2.2 cm) powered by an included AAA battery. The app is free for iOS and Android and works in Sweden.
