Blunt knives make cooking harder than it needs to be. Ninja Foodi StaySharp brings five kitchen knives and kitchen scissors together in a block with a built-in sharpener – so the knives get their edge back with a few strokes, right on the counter.

Lock the clean, dry knife in the sharpener and move the handle back and forth. The sharpener's ceramic wheel sits at a fixed angle to the blade, so you don't need sharpening skills. Sharpened about every two weeks, the knives stay sharp for ten years according to Ninja.

The blades are forged from German stainless steel with a 22° edge angle and a full tang: the blade is one piece of steel running right through the handle, which is fixed with two rivets. The half bolster gives a firm grip.

The block holds a 20 cm chef's knife, slicing knife and bread knife, a 13 cm utility knife, a 9 cm paring knife and scissors – what you need for everyday cooking, from onions and chicken to sourdough bread.
