You can cook literally anything in this Ninja Foodi Max and it's family size too. I particularly like the steam roast function and pressure cook function – it cooks the meat so quickly but makes the meat so tender and tasty. I'm so glad I purchased it and love using it most days to make family meals and new recipes. A must-have everyday small kitchen appliance. My recommendation is everyone should own one of these – it helps cooking with ease.

I've hardly used my oven at all since I got this. Speedy cooking of most things (jacket potatoes are still time consuming), pressure cooking is brilliant – never even knew I needed it in my life but I'm using it all the time, and I love that I can steam and air fry at the same time. I'm thinking I might need the pizza tray and baking kit after all; didn't think I would, but that would probably eliminate my need to turn on the oven at all.

Since I got the Ninja Foodi it's been great fun to learn how to use all the different functions. It's incredibly versatile, because there are so many cooking options to choose from. Food cooks quickly and the quality is amazing. It seems easier to get food really hot to get good browning flavours and caramelised surfaces. Having a probe to check meat cooking temperature means bigger joints of roasted meat are cooked perfectly without drying out. I use it so much I had to dust my oven last week!

Wow, just wow. It's a simple game changer. I am not a very great cook, but with this machine it's simpler, faster and more pleasant to prepare meals. I love the steam roast function, especially for chicken. Slow-cooked lamb was amazing. We eat lots of soups and it takes no more than 20 minutes to prepare a delicious soup in the pressure cooker. I love it. Next step will be to bake bread.

Pressure cook a stew, air fry the potatoes and roast the chicken – in one appliance, under one lid. Foodi MAX has a SmartLid: turn the slider to pressure cook, air fry or combi-steam, and the lid knows which mode you have chosen.

The pot holds 7.5 l, up to six portions according to Ninja. With the two-level rack you can cook a main and a side at the same time, and combi-steam keeps food juicy inside and crisp outside.

Push the digital thermometer into the meat and choose how well done you want it. The appliance watches the temperature for you, from rare to well done.

According to Ninja there are 14 functions, including pressure cook, air fry, grill, bake, slow cook, steam, dehydrate, prove and yoghurt. The pot and accessories are dishwasher safe.
