Two drawers, each with its own setting

Each drawer has its own fan and heater. Put the salmon in one and the root vegetables in the other, choose mode, time and temperature for each and press SYNC. The air fryer holds back the drawer that needs the least time, so nothing goes cold while the rest finishes.

Each 3.8 l drawer holds up to 1 kg of fries or a whole 1.6 kg chicken. Cooking lots of the same thing? Choose MATCH and fill both drawers. Home alone? One is enough.

I have owned many different Ninja products, I am always seduced by a new product. This air fryer is in my opinion the best air fryer – not only has it got the two drawers that can be set independently of each other, but unlike other dual fryers, I do like the simplicity of just 4 cook options. This Sunday I cooked a 1.6 kg pork leg joint to perfection; this took just 1 hour 20 using the Roast function, lovely tender meat with perfect crackling. The dimensions of this model seem more compact than previous dual fryers I have owned.

How does it differ from the six-mode models?

This one has four modes – Air Fry, Max Crisp, Roast and Reheat. It has no Bake or Dehydrate. If you want to bake or dry fruit in your air fryer, a six-mode model is a better fit.

How much fits?

Two 3.8 l drawers. According to Ninja, each drawer holds up to 1 kg of fries or a whole 1.6 kg chicken.

Can I use just one drawer?

Yes, you can run one drawer at a time.

Chicken in one drawer, potatoes in the other – and both are ready at the same time. The Ninja Foodi Dual Zone 4-in-1 has two separate 3.8 l drawers, each with its own fan and heater, so you can cook two dishes at different times and temperatures.

With SYNC, the air fryer works out when each drawer should start so they finish together. With MATCH, you copy the setting from one drawer to the other when you want a double batch. Cooking just for yourself? Use one drawer.
