Chopped onion in seconds

Put the onion in the bowl, fit the motor and press a few times. The pulse gives even pieces for the stew or sauce – without standing at the chopping board.

The bowl becomes a container

Flip the splash guard and it becomes a lid with a flip lock. Put the salsa or dressing in the fridge and stack the bowls.

From salsa to hummus

Shorter presses for salsa and nuts, a longer press for hummus, pesto and aioli. The measurement marks in the bowl help you dose.

I have had this little chopper for a few years now and I absolutely love it. I use it for veggies for soup, onions (no more tears), egg mayo and many other things. It's so easy to use and wash, and doesn't take up a lot of room. It's so handy to have the 2 containers as well, especially if you have one in the fridge with stuff in it. The containers also have a rubber seal at the bottom, so they don't move around when you are using it. My favourite kitchen gadget by far.

How much does a bowl hold?

The bowls are 500 ml and are filled to at most 473 ml – right for one onion, a batch of pesto or salsa for four.

Can it handle nuts and carrots?

Yes, according to Ninja it handles nuts, seeds and root vegetables. Cut large roots into pieces first.

Can I crush ice?

It is made for chopping and blending food. For ice and frozen drinks a blender is a better fit.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Splash guard, blades and bowls are dishwasher safe. Wipe the motor (PowerPod) with a damp cloth.

Description

Onion, garlic and herbs chopped in seconds – without getting out the big food processor. Ninja Express Chop is a compact chopper where you press the motor on top of the bowl: short presses give a coarse chop, a longer press minces and blends.

The 200 W motor drives a blade assembly with two rows of blades that handles onion, carrots, nuts, seeds and root vegetables. Make salsa, pesto, hummus, aioli or a quick dressing.

Two 500 ml bowls (473 ml max fill) are included. The splash guard becomes a lid with a flip lock, so the bowl doubles as a storage container in the fridge, and the closed bowls stack on top of each other. A rubber base keeps the bowl in place.

Splash guard, blades and bowls are dishwasher safe. Just right for small kitchens and for anyone who cooks from scratch every day.
