My first time using a Ninja blender and it didn't disappoint. It takes a few seconds to crush whatever I put inside. It works perfectly for my smoothies. The best part is the countdown: if you get carried away, the blender counts down and stops itself. You don't have to choose a program, BlendSense does it for you. All in all it's easy to use, with no complicated buttons to press. What a technology. BlendSense knows when you switch between processor bowl, jug and cups. It gives you the option to choose how to chop your veggies, in large, small or medium chunks. Easy to clean and the parts washed perfectly in a dishwasher. I have recommended this product to all my friends and family, and four of them have already bought it with no regret.

What does BlendSense do?

According to Ninja the technology senses whether ingredients are fresh or frozen, whether there is ice and how big the portion is, and chooses power, speed and time accordingly.

Can I blend hot soup in the jug?

No, it isn't made for hot, sparkling or carbonated ingredients. Let food cool first.

How much does it hold?

The jug takes 1.9 l of liquid, the cups 644 ml and the processor bowl 1.6 l.

Are the parts dishwasher safe?

Yes, blades, cups and jug go in the top rack. Avoid heated drying programs.

How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Description

Add the ingredients, turn the Detect dial and let the blender handle the rest. According to Ninja, Detect Power Pro senses whether ingredients are fresh or frozen, whether there is ice and how big the portion is, and adjusts power, speed and time accordingly (BlendSense).

It's three appliances on one 1,200 W motor: a 2.1 l jug (1.9 l liquid) for frozen drinks for several people, 700 ml single-serve cups (644 ml liquid) with drinking lids, and a food processor bowl with programs for large chop, small chop and mince.

Prefer to be in charge? There are ten manual speeds and pulse. The jug's Total Crushing blade has three levels of stainless steel blades for ice and frozen fruit.

Blades, cups and jug go in the top rack of the dishwasher. Good for a family making smoothies in the morning, salsa for Friday night and pizza dough for the weekend.
