★★★★★Practical double chamber with plenty of room
So far I'm really very happy with the Ninja CRISPi DualZone Glass Air Fryer. In my everyday life it's especially nice that I can use two separate containers and so cook two different dishes at the same time. That alone has already saved me time at several meals, because I no longer have to cook one thing after the other. The 8 functions make the appliance versatile for me, even if I don't need everything all the time day to day. I mostly use air fry and re-baking, and both work very convincingly for my needs. The results come out nicely crispy on the outside without much effort on my part. I also find the glass containers practical, because I can keep a good eye on the contents and see straight away what's happening inside. With the total volume of 7.6 litres you manage well even with larger portions. It's easily enough for our dinner, and even when we have guests the split into two 3.8-litre containers makes sense. I understood how to use it after a short time, and overall it's uncomplicated. All in all I find the appliance very well done and a real help in daily use. For me it's a strong air fryer that deserves its place in the kitchen. Overall verdict: completely convincing and clearly five stars.

★★★★★Versatile, but not for large dishes
The product arrives in a large box, well protected with polystyrene and plastic bags, together with an instruction manual (also in Italian) and a recipe book (not in Italian: a common problem with Ninja products). The instructions are very clear and make it easy to understand how to get the most out of the two compartments of 3.8 litres each: each has its own time and temperature setting, on top of the various presets, and the cooking time can be coordinated with the other compartment so that both dishes finish together. The controls are easy to use and responsive, cooking is even and precise, the presets are many and accurate for different situations, and it is easy to take apart and dishwasher safe. In my opinion the two-compartment system works well for smaller households that use the air fryer a lot for different dishes, while for larger meals two compartments can be less convenient than a single one that can be divided. A big plus is the glass drawers: you can follow the cooking without having to open and interrupt it all the time, and store food in the fridge without dirtying other containers.

How much counter space does it take?

It is 42.4 cm wide, 29.8 cm deep and 29.4 cm high. Measure the spot where it will stand and leave some space around it, as warm air is blown out while cooking.

How much food fits?

Each container holds 3.8 l, 7.6 l in total. According to Ninja that is enough for 6–8 people, or up to 1.8 kg of chicken wings or fries.

Can I cook straight from frozen in the glass containers?

Yes, according to Ninja the glass containers can go from frozen to hot, and the air fryer is made for cooking frozen food. Always follow the manual on how to handle the glass.

How do I clean it?

The glass containers, storage lids and crisper plates are dishwasher safe. Wipe the unit itself with a damp cloth once it has cooled down.

Do I need to use oil?

No, in Air Fry mode you cook with little or no oil. For an extra crispy surface, a light brush of oil can help.
