    Love this little Ninja, it's perfect for when I'm out and about. Don't get some of the reviews about these things. The battery life is just fine – I got it mid January, only charged it once and it's literally still going strong. I don't use it every day. But I travel a lot and it's perfect for when I am not able to use my larger one.

    I think if you read the product specs and know what you are buying, you'll be happy. This isn't going to make huge batches or cut through big things – it's for smoothie or dip or soup (not hot) blending. You'll need to recharge after use, but it has a clever topper for the blades so it's safe on the worktop.

You blend and drink from the same cup. It holds 530 ml, with a 470 ml max fill. The lid has a carry handle and seals tightly, so you can take your drink with you.

According to Ninja the stainless steel blades handle ice and frozen fruit, and the base stands steady on the table. A full charge takes about two hours and, according to Ninja, gives more than ten blends.

Cup and lid are dishwasher safe.
