Yes, the Smart Case is included, as is a USB-C charge cable.

Can I use them wired?

Yes. With a USB-C cable you get lossless audio with ultra-low latency from compatible devices. For 3.5 mm sockets, such as on planes, Apple's USB-C to 3.5 mm audio cable is available.

Do they work with Android and PCs?

Yes, as Bluetooth headphones, but with limited functionality outside Apple devices according to Apple.

Description

AirPods Max 2 are Apple's over-ear headphones, with an H2 chip in each ear cup. Active noise cancellation, transparency mode and Adaptive Audio are included, as is personalised spatial audio with dynamic head tracking.

The Digital Crown on one cup adjusts volume and controls playback and calls, and a button switches listening modes. Nine microphones in total handle noise cancellation and voice pickup.

According to Apple the battery lasts up to 20 hours with noise cancellation, and five minutes of charging gives about 1.5 hours of listening. In the Smart Case the headphones go into a power-saving state. Over a USB-C cable you can listen lossless with ultra-low latency.

Available in five colours: midnight, starlight, blue, purple and orange.
