Charged in the case

In the kits with mobile receiver, the transmitters and receiver sit in a charging case that also charges them. With the case you get up to 48 hours in total according to DJI, and five minutes of fast charging gives about one more hour.

Sound that is good straight away

Choose Regular for a balanced sound, Rich for more body or Bright for more presence. With Basic or Strong noise cancelling you adapt the sound to a quiet room or a busy street, so you edit less afterwards.

The magnetic front covers click onto the transmitter. Black and white are included, and more colours are available as accessories – so you can match the microphone to your clothes.

What is the difference between the variants?

Transmitter only is an extra transmitter for a system you already have. 1 TX + 1 RX has a receiver for cameras, with a 3.5 mm cable and phone adapter (USB-C). 1 TX + mobile RX and 2 TX + mobile RX have a mobile receiver that plugs straight into your phone and a charging case, for one or two voices.

Can I use it without a receiver?

Yes, with selected Osmo cameras. Via DJI OsmoAudio you connect up to two transmitters directly to the camera.

Does the transmitter record internally?

No, Mic Mini 2 has no internal recording and no timecode. If you need that, look at DJI Mic 3.

Description

DJI Mic Mini 2 is a wireless microphone weighing around 11 g per transmitter – so light you forget it is on your sweater. It suits vlogs, interviews, live streams and travel, with a phone, camera, computer or tablet.

Audio is recorded at 48 kHz/24-bit. You choose between three voice tones – Regular, Rich and Bright – and two levels of noise cancelling, Basic and Strong. An automatic limiter lowers the level when it gets too loud, and in the DJI Mimo app you can turn on Safety Track, an extra channel 6 dB lower.

Range is up to 400 m with the receiver and up to 300 m with the mobile receiver according to DJI. The transmitter runs up to 11.5 hours and the receiver up to 10.5 hours, and with a charging case you get up to 48 hours in total. With selected Osmo cameras you connect the transmitters directly via OsmoAudio.
