Apple AirPods 5

AirPods 5 are Apple's open-fit wireless earbuds – no ear tips, so they rest lightly in your ear. They still have active noise cancellation, transparency mode and Adaptive Audio, run by the H2 chip.

Choose your case: the standard case charges over USB-C. The wireless charging case also charges on Apple Watch chargers and Qi-certified chargers, has a speaker for Find My, and the earbuds in that version adjust volume when you swipe the stem.

According to Apple the battery lasts up to 4 hours with noise cancellation (5 hours with the wireless case) and up to 20 and 22 hours respectively with the case. Five minutes in the case gives about an hour of listening.

The earbuds resist dust, sweat and water (IP57). Personalised spatial audio with head tracking and voice isolation on calls are included.
