Two processors share the work: Snapdragon W5 for apps and a low-power chip for everyday tasks. That gives up to 6 days in smart mode, according to Xiaomi.
Control with a hand movement
An EMG sensor picks up small movements of your hand, so you can for example answer or dismiss with a gesture when your hands are busy.

Does it work with iPhone?
No. According to Xiaomi, Xiaomi Watch 5 only works with Android 8.0 or later. iOS is not supported, so check your phone before you buy.
Can I pay with the watch?
Yes, with Google Wallet wherever Google Pay is accepted, if your bank supports Google Wallet.
Does it have eSIM?
No. The watch connects to your phone over Bluetooth and to Wi-Fi. Calls go through your phone.
Can I swim with it?
The watch is water resistant to 5 ATM and handles pool swimming. It is not made for diving, sauna or hot showers.
Is a charger included?
The box contains the watch, a charging dock and a user guide, according to Xiaomi. A power adapter is not included.
Can the watch replace a doctor or detect illness?
No. The watch is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice. Heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress and other readings are estimates for following your own training and everyday life. Contact a healthcare provider if you have symptoms or questions about your health.

Xiaomi Watch 5 is a smartwatch with Wear OS by Google for you who have an Android phone and want Google's apps on your wrist. You can pay with Google Wallet, talk to Gemini and download apps, and the watch handles calls through its microphone and speaker.
The case is 316L stainless steel and the 1.54-inch display is protected by sapphire glass. The watch has dual-band GNSS (L1+L5) with five satellite systems and offline maps with route navigation, so you find your way even without mobile coverage.
According to Xiaomi the 930 mAh battery lasts up to 6 days in smart mode, 4 days with always-on display and 18 days in power saving mode. Charging takes about 90 minutes.
Please note: Xiaomi Watch 5 only works with Android 8.0 or later. It cannot be used with iPhone.
