What is the difference between the editions?
Carbon Black and Galaxy Black have a disc drive for games and films on disc; Galaxy Black also has 2 TB of storage. Robot White is all-digital (1 TB) and does not play discs – games are bought in the Microsoft Store.
Do my Xbox One games work?
Yes, Xbox Series X plays thousands of backward-compatible games from Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the original Xbox. Disc games need an edition with a disc drive.
Do I need Game Pass?
No, not to play your own games. Online play with others requires Xbox Game Pass Essential or higher (sold separately).
Is a controller included?
Yes, an Xbox Wireless Controller in the console’s colour is included.
Is it an original Microsoft product?
Yes, it is Microsoft’s own console in its original packaging.
