Softer air in the living room
Alto is made for rooms up to 35 m² according to Wilfa. Put it on a table or shelf, turn the mist level up when the air feels dry and down when it's enough.
Fill it under the tap
Lift out the 4.2-litre tank by its handle and fill it straight under the tap. The water window shows the level, and a soft blue light tells you when it's time to refill.
Scent if you like
At the back there's an aroma compartment where you can drip scented oil that spreads with the mist. Only use the compartment – never pour oil into the water tank.
Product FAQ
Will there be white dust?
There can be. Ultrasonic humidifiers spread minerals from the water, and with hard tap water a fine white dust can settle around the unit. Aim the mist away from furniture and electronics and clean the tank regularly.
Is the mist warm? Can it stand in a child's room?
The mist is cool – the water isn't heated. Still, place it steadily, out of reach of small children, and unplug it before lifting off the tank or cleaning it.
What's the difference between TXD and TXL?
Only the colour: TXD is dark and TXL light. The features are the same.
What humidity should I aim for?
Indoors, 40–60 % relative humidity usually feels comfortable. With the radiators on in winter, indoor air can drop to 20–30 %. Set the level you want and let the humidity sensor do the work – above 60 % is rarely needed and can cause condensation on cold windows.
Are scented oils included?
No. Scented oils aren't sold here. Only use the aroma compartment or pad as the manual describes – never pour oil into the water tank unless the manufacturer explicitly says you can.
How do I clean it?
Empty the water and let the parts dry when you're not using it. Clean the tank and filter about once a week as the manual describes – with water and a soft brush, and descale when needed. Never leave old water standing for days.

Description
A simple humidifier with a textile-covered front that blends into the living room or bedroom. Wilfa Alto emits up to 250 ml of cool mist per hour and suits rooms up to 35 m² according to Wilfa.
You control it with a single dial: switch on and turn the mist level up or down. The removable 4.2-litre tank has a handle and a water window, and you fill it straight under the tap. When the tank is empty a soft blue light comes on and the unit switches off.
A reusable ceramic filter softens the water, and you can drip scented oil in the aroma compartment if you like. The noise level is 35–38 dB according to Wilfa.
Available in dark (TXD) and light (TXL).
