For the coldest days on the slopes

When the thermometer shows double-digit minus, an ordinary ski sock isn't enough. The heating line around the toes keeps your feet warm without making the sock thicker.

The battery snaps onto the cuff

The S-Pack sits above the boot edge and the press studs keep it in place. One press changes the level.

Support where it counts

Polyamide fibres around the foot and leg add support, and channels in the knit lead moisture away to keep the foot dry.

Product FAQ

Are batteries included?

No, the socks are sold without batteries. They run on Therm-ic S-Pack batteries, which snap onto the cuff: S-Pack 2400, S-Pack 3000B or S-Pack 4000B (the last two can also be controlled with Therm-ic's app via Bluetooth). The batteries are available here in the shop.

Which size should I choose?

Go by your shoe size (EU): 35–36, 37–38, 39–41, 42–44 or 45–47.

How do I wash the socks?

Remove the batteries first. Turn the socks inside out and wash by hand or in the machine in a laundry bag, at 30 °C and 400 rpm at most. No bleach, no fabric softener and no tumble dryer: dry them flat, not on a radiator.

Is the heat safe, and can I sleep in them?

Do not sleep with the heat on. Start on level 1 or 2: Therm-ic advises against leaving level 3 on for more than a few minutes, as the skin can get too warm. Check regularly for redness. If you find it hard to feel heat and cold, for example with diabetes or poor circulation, or if you have sensitive skin, ask a doctor before using them. Children should only use them under adult supervision and on the lowest level.

Can the heat interfere with my avalanche beacon?

Therm-ic notes that, like any electronic device, the product can interfere with an avalanche beacon. Test your gear together before heading off-piste.

Description

Ultra Warm Comfort is Therm-ic's thin merino heated sock for skiing in really cold conditions. A thin heating line, S.E.T®, runs around the toes and warms discreetly without you feeling it in the boot.

Half of the knit is merino wool, which insulates and breathes, while polyamide fibres support the foot and leg. Moisture is led away from the arch through small channels in the knit, keeping the foot dry.

The socks are sold without batteries and run on Therm-ic's S-Pack 2400, 3000B or 4000B, which snap onto the cuff. You choose between three heat levels. With the S-Pack 4000B, heat lasts up to 20 hours on the lowest level, according to Therm-ic.

Comfort is the softer of the Comfort/Performance pair: a good pick for long days on the slopes when warmth and softness come first.
