What's included?
Spare batteries for one pair of Ultra Heat Boost gloves or mittens. The gloves come with their own USB charging cable.
How do I look after the batteries?
Charge after each use. Store them half charged, cool (5–20 °C) and disconnected from the glove and charger. Never open a battery or remove its protective film; don't use a damaged battery. Recycle worn-out batteries.
Is the heat safe, and can I sleep in them?
Do not sleep with the heat on. Start on level 1 or 2: Therm-ic advises against leaving level 3 on for more than a few minutes, as the skin can get too warm. Check regularly for redness. If you find it hard to feel heat and cold, for example with diabetes or poor circulation, or if you have sensitive skin, ask a doctor before using them. Children should only use them under adult supervision and on the lowest level.
Can I take the batteries on a plane?
The batteries are lithium-ion, about 19.2 Wh each (calculated from voltage and capacity), well below the 100 Wh limit that usually applies in cabin baggage. Loose batteries go in your carry-on, not in checked baggage. Rules vary, so always check with your airline before you travel.

GL5200 is the larger battery kit for Therm-ic's Ultra Heat Boost heated gloves and mittens. With 5,200 mAh, heat lasts up to 10 hours on level 1, 5 hours on level 2 and 3 hours on level 3, according to Therm-ic.
Despite the higher capacity, the batteries charge in about 5.5 hours. They are made for the Boost elements, which according to Therm-ic have 1.5 W of extra power.
The kit only fits Ultra Heat Boost, not other Therm-ic gloves. For long days in the mountains, on the ice or out hunting.
