A fire on the coffee table
Put Ben on the coffee table on a dark evening. Amber Light makes the mist look like flames, and you choose how strong the fire should be.
Refill while it runs
The 2.5-litre tank lifts out and can be refilled while it's running. According to Stadler Form you drip essential oils straight into the water if you want scent.
Easy to keep clean
Ben comes apart into a few parts that are cleaned as the manual describes. Empty the water when you're not using it.

Is the fire real?
No. It's the mist lit up by lamps (Amber Light) – no fire, no heat and no soot.
Are scented oils included?
No, oils aren't sold here. Stadler Form says essential oils can be dripped straight into Ben's water tank – follow the manual.
Will there be white dust?
There can be. Ultrasonic humidifiers spread minerals from the water, and with hard tap water a fine white dust can settle around the unit. Aim the mist away from furniture and electronics and clean the tank regularly.
What humidity should I aim for?
Indoors, 40–60 % relative humidity usually feels comfortable. With the radiators on in winter, indoor air can drop to 20–30 %. Set the level you want and let the humidity sensor do the work – above 60 % is rarely needed and can cause condensation on cold windows.
Can it stand in a child's room?
Place it steadily and out of reach of small children, and unplug it before lifting off the tank or cleaning it.

Ben does three things at once: humidifies the air, spreads scent and looks like a small fire. Stadler Form's Amber Light illuminates the rising mist with a warm glow so it looks like flames – entirely without fire or soot.
Ben suits rooms up to 25 m² and emits up to 160 g/h according to Stadler Form. The noise level is 27–30 dB(A). The fire can be dimmed from a faint flicker to a blazing fire or switched off completely, as can the illuminated water level indicator.
The removable 2.5-litre tank can be refilled while Ben is running. According to Stadler Form you drip essential oils straight into the water for scent. A perfect companion for dark winter evenings on the sofa.
