I bought this a few weeks ago, and I'm really impressed! It has excellent suction power, is super lightweight, and compact enough to make all those tricky cleaning jobs easy – whether it's the skirting boards, sofa crevices, or car interiors. The accessories are also a huge plus; I especially like the brush attachment, which works wonders on my fabric sofas. The only slight drawback is the battery life, as it doesn't last very long. However, the sleek charging stand makes it convenient to recharge right after use, so it hasn't been an issue.

I bought this to replace a previous version of the model after the bin catch stopped working - it did last me well for four years before! I find this model has been improved and it certainly has a stronger suction capacity. I like that the model has a boost function to increase strength as well. Has a great running time of 15 mins from one charge - perfect for doing a quick run around of the house to pick up dust in problem areas. The filter is easy to clean and the bin more compact but a good size to collect lint and crumbs. A recommend from me!

My handheld Shark is fabulous. It is very easy to use. It now sits in the corner in the kitchen, always ready to use. I really like it, it is so handy to pick up bits on the floor or kitchen surfaces so quickly. I have a small dog that moults all the time! Again the handheld picks up the hairs so easily and everywhere looks great. I use it on windowsills, conservatory floor, mud in the hallway after dog walking. And elsewhere you wish to remove bits/hair on furniture. Very easy to use quickly. Highly recommend the handheld Shark.

Great buy that is so useful, especially with 2 dogs leaving biscuit crumbs everywhere. What surprised me was how powerful it is. The Shark comes with 2 attachments, a crevice tool that also has a small brush that you can flip up, and a larger brush head, and other attachments are available. It's easy to empty the dust cup and just pop it back in the holder to charge up. I highly recommend this vacuum.

How long does the battery last?
According to Shark up to 15 minutes in standard mode. In boost mode it runs down faster. Charging in the dock takes about 3.5 hours.
How is it different from the WandVac WV200?
The WV270 has two suction modes, including boost, and up to 15 minutes run time against 8 minutes for the WV200 according to Shark. We sell both.
Can it pick up liquids?
No, it's made for dry crumbs, dust and hair.
Are there more accessories?

Description
Shark's second generation of the slim handheld vacuum. It stands charging in its dock on the kitchen counter and comes out when crumbs, soil or pet hair turn up – in the kitchen, the hall, the sofa or the car.
According to Shark it weighs just under 700 g and gives up to 15 minutes in standard mode. Two suction modes, including a boost mode, let you choose the power for the task.
With the multi-surface tool and the crevice tool with dusting brush you reach sofa cushions, skirting and tight spaces. The dust bin opens at the push of a button and empties without spills, and the filter can be removed and rinsed.
