Fins instead of bristles
The PowerFins roll has soft rubber fins that stay against the floor. They lift dirt and hair out of the carpet and don't push crumbs ahead of them on hard floors. Hair that catches is combed off as you go.
A handheld in a second
Press the button and lift out the handheld. The crevice tool reaches gaps and skirting, and the upholstery tool takes crumbs and dust from the sofa and shelves.
Bend, clean, fold
The Flexology wand folds so the floorhead goes far under the sofa while you stay upright. After cleaning, fold it and park the vacuum in a corner – charge the battery in the vacuum or on its own.

Fantastic vacuum cleaner. I have 14 cats, 12 have very long hair. They are moulting like mad as the weather warms up. This Shark gets rid of all the fur, it's amazing. The battery lasts really well and having no lead is brilliant.

I have bought two previous Shark vacuums in order to replace my first Shark stick vacuum but neither were quite as good, but this one has surpassed with one small understandable exception. It is heavier on its head but as it's cordless I understand this is because of the battery. I love the fact it can stand independently at the click of a button when folded, and the little bag to carry accessories means I can take them around the house and use where necessary. I appreciate there are only two... Who uses the vast number that usually come with a cleaner, or having them attached to the machine as they usually fall off. In summary a great machine, I am very pleased.

I researched a fair bit before purchasing this model. I really like how compactly it can fold down so it is suitable for our relatively small space. It can also bend to get under the bed/sofa etc which is very useful. I have found it easy to empty out the bin and to charge it. I have found it a bit heavier on the wrist but it hasn't been troublesome. It would have been better if it came with a brush attachment as well. If these things don't matter to you then it's a great buy and I would recommend it.

How long does the battery last?
According to Shark up to 50 minutes in ECO mode with a non-motorised tool. With the floorhead and in boost mode it runs down faster. Charging takes about 3.5 hours.
Does it work on wooden floors and tiles?
Yes. The PowerFins floorhead is made for carpets and hard floors, and FloorDetect slows the roll down when it senses a hard floor.
What's the difference from the PowerPro Pet?
The vacuum itself is the same. The Pet model IZ380EUT also comes with a motorised pet tool for sofas, car seats and rugs – we sell both.
Does it need a wall dock?
No. It stands on its own when the wand is folded, and the battery charges either in the vacuum or on its own.

Description
A light cordless stick vacuum for everyday cleaning. The PowerFins floorhead has rubber fins instead of ordinary bristles, so it stays in contact with the floor all the time – it digs into the carpet and moves straight on to parquet and tiles.
FloorDetect senses whether you're on carpet or a hard floor and sets the brush roll speed and suction to match. The Anti Hair Wrap roll removes long hair and pet hair while you vacuum so you don't have to cut tangles loose, and LED lights at the front show dust and crumbs under the furniture.
The wand bends at the push of a button so you can reach under the bed and the sofa, and folds when you're done so the vacuum stands on its own. The battery is removable and gives up to 50 minutes in ECO mode according to Shark. Lift out the handheld for the stairs, the shelves and the car – a crevice tool, an upholstery tool come in an accessory bag.
