It senses your home

I was so excited as I was taking my new Shark Power Detect out of the box and packaging and I was so impressed on how my new Shark vac picked up everything, not just off the carpet but it also works amazingly on wooden or laminate flooring too. I really do recommend this machine and it also picks up everything not just pushing it forward, it picks up the dirt as you pull it back towards you too! I absolutely love my Shark PowerDetect Clean & Empty Cordless Pet Vacuum Cleaner! It has fantastic suction power and does an amazing job of picking up dust, dirt and pet hair. This arrived today and omg it's the best Shark I've owned so far. I have 2 other Sharks, the cordless and the corded. I didn't even realise it had an odour pod which smells amazing. The only bad thing for me is the power cord isn't long enough as my plug socket is halfway up the wall so I need to use an extension lead but it's not the end of the world. The amount it picked up from my carpet on my small landing was amazing.

How often does the base need emptying?
According to Shark the base holds dirt for up to 45 days, depending on how much and how often you vacuum. The dust bin itself is emptied automatically every time the vacuum goes into the base.
Does the base need bags?
No, the base is bagless. You empty the container straight into the bin.
How long does the battery last?
According to Shark up to 70 minutes in ECO mode with a non-motorised tool. In BOOST mode and with the floorhead it runs down faster. A full charge takes about 6 hours.
Does it work on carpets and hard floors?
Yes. FloorDetect senses the floor type and adjusts the roll, so you can go from carpet to parquet without changing the floorhead.
Which tools are included?
A dusting brush, a multi-surface tool and a motorised pet tool.

Description
Shark's PowerDetect vacuum for homes with pets and plenty of floor. The DuoClean Detect floorhead has two brush rolls and several sensors: DirtDetect boosts power where it's dirty, EdgeDetect along edges and in corners, and FloorDetect switches the roll between carpet and hard floor. The floorhead picks up debris both when you push forward and pull back.
Put it back in the base after cleaning, and the dust bin empties while the battery charges. According to Shark the base holds dirt for up to 45 days and has an odour filter, so you don't have to empty it after every clean.
Anti Hair Wrap Plus combs long hair and pet hair off the roll while you vacuum. A display shows battery level and mode (ECO, DETECT and BOOST), and the battery gives up to 70 minutes in ECO mode with a non-motorised tool according to Shark.
The Flexology wand bends under furniture and folds for storage. As a handheld it takes on stairs, sofas and the car with the dusting brush, the multi-surface tool and the motorised pet tool.
