Purchased this item and really pleased I did. As soon as I powered it up, the display went to red then steadily went to green. To me, it proved that it was doing everything I wanted from it. Sits in the corner of the room, not in the way, not too big, just doing its thing in keeping our air nice and clean.

Do I need to change the filter?
According to Shark the main filter doesn't need replacing for up to five years (12 hours a day in a 12 m² room). You clean the pre-filter yourself. The Anti-Odour cartridge can be replaced when the scent runs out.
Do I have to use the scent?
No. The scent strength is set with a dial and can be switched off completely without affecting the cleaning.
How big a room can it handle?
According to Shark up to 60 m² with one air change per hour. In a smaller 12 m² room the air is changed about 4.8 times an hour.
How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Description
An air purifier for the living room, bedroom or hall that monitors the air itself and turns the fan up or down as needed. An LED display shows air quality in real time, with levels for PM10 (dust and pollen), PM2.5 (smoke and pollution) and PM1.
The filtration has four layers: NanoSeal HEPA for dust, smoke and small particles, activated carbon for odours and gases, a pet particle barrier and a DebrisDefence pre-filter that protects the HEPA layer from hair and dust. The pre-filter can be vacuumed, wiped or rinsed. Thanks to it, the main filter doesn't need replacing for up to five years according to Shark.
An Anti-Odour cartridge adds a fresh scent, and you set its strength with a dial – or switch it off. Quiet operation and a dimmable display make it suitable for the bedroom. According to Shark it cleans rooms of up to 60 m² with one air change per hour.
