The toaster works as it should. The real plus of this toaster is the defrost button. I can choose to get a nice piece of toast or a nice piece of fresh, soft bread straight out of the freezer. Just press the defrost button after starting the toaster on a low setting. Genius!

Do thick slices fit?

Yes, the slots are extra wide and take thicker slices and bagels too.

How do I use the warming rack?

Fold the rack up on top, place the roll and choose reheat. Never put bread directly on the slots, and keep the slots empty while using the rack.

How do I clean the toaster?

Unplug it and let it cool. Slide out and empty the crumb tray, and wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Never put metal objects into the slots.

Is there a matching kettle?

Yes, the Eden 1.7 l kettle comes in the same four colours.

How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Description

Toast your way, in a toaster that matches the rest of breakfast. Eden has a ribbed surface with chrome details and comes in black, white, raspberry and pistachio.

Two extra-wide slots take thick slices too, and six browning levels go from light to crisp. There are buttons for frozen bread, reheat and cancel, and the lever lifts the slices extra high so you do not burn your fingers.

On top, the warming rack folds up for rolls and croissants. Crumbs collect in a removable tray that is easy to empty. The toaster runs at 800 W with a 61 cm cord.

For anyone who wants a simple toaster with the functions you actually use – ideally next to an Eden kettle in the same colour.
