I bought the toaster to match my industrial-style interior. It looks really stylish and I like the chrome design a lot. There is not much to say about getting started: unpack, plug in and switch on. First without bread, so it burns off. On first use it gave off no strange smell at all. With other old toasters I sometimes noticed a smell at first. It was important to me that the toaster was stainless steel, had two long (25 cm) and wide (3.6 cm) slots, a crumb drawer and a rack for rolls, which I do not normally use but which is sometimes needed. It meets all these requirements with top marks. The material feels very solid and it is very easy to set with the dial. Then bread in, level 2, lever down. When it is done the toast pops up. Perfect. The cancel button stops it at any time. There is also a defrost and reheat function and a roll holder. Simply a toaster that works well. I can really recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, high-quality toaster.

How many slices does it toast?

Two long slots take four standard slices, or two long slices.

How do I clean the toaster?

Unplug it and let it cool. Slide out and empty the crumb tray, and wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Never put metal objects into the slots.

How do I use the warming rack?

Put the rack on top of the slots, place the roll or croissant on it and choose reheat. Never have bread in the slots while the rack is in use.

How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Breakfast for the whole family in one go. The Adventure 4-slice has two long, extra-wide slots in brushed stainless steel – for four standard slices or two long ones.

The toaster has two long, extra-wide slots. Six browning levels go from light to crisp. The high lift raises the slices extra high so you do not burn your fingers. There are buttons for frozen bread, reheat and cancel. The warming rack on top warms rolls and croissants. Crumbs collect in a removable tray. Power is 1,600 W.
