Bought this kettle 5 months ago and so far it's been great. I love the features on this including the temperature control – perfect for making my matcha tea and other speciality teas as well as the usual tea and coffee. The kettle heats up quickly, and the hold function comes in handy to keep the water at temperature for making more drinks, needing a boiled kettle whilst cooking, or simply boiling the kettle and getting distracted. The swivel base is also a great feature, as the kettle can be kept with the handle on either side, and the kettle looks the same either way, whereas with previous kettles it was obvious that it's the back of the kettle if the handle is on the left. The kettle is sleek and doesn't take up too much space, makes the usual Ninja noise once boiled, which isn't too loud, and is easy to use. It still looks brand new and I've had no issues with it at all.

Which temperatures are there?

Six presets between 60 and 100 °C. You can also choose manually in 5 °C steps from 40 to 100 °C.

How do the colours differ?

Cyber space and stainless steel are KT201EU, matte black is KT200EU. The features are the same in all three.

How much water does it hold?

1.7 l, about seven cups. The markings show in the lit water window.

How do I descale it?

Take out the limescale filter in the spout and rinse it. Descale the kettle regularly as the manual says, more often if you have hard water.

Description

Green tea wants 70 degrees, cafetière coffee 95 and black tea 100. Ninja Perfect Temperature is a kettle where you choose the temperature at the press of a button – so the tea isn't bitter and the coffee doesn't taste burnt.

Six presets from 60 to 100 °C, or set it yourself in 5 °C steps from 40 to 100 °C. The display shows the temperature as the water heats, and Hold Temp keeps the chosen temperature for up to 30 minutes – so the second cup is as good as the first.

At 3,000 W, one cup boils in under 50 seconds according to Ninja. The kettle holds 1.7 l, about seven cups, and the water window is lit in blue.

The spout has a removable limescale filter, the kettle is BPA-free and a drinks guide with temperature charts is included. Available in cyber space, matte black and stainless steel.
