Great machine, love it. I use this every day and I love the integrated tamper, and the thicker steam wand wipes clean with no effort. Although the tray does get full quite quickly, it just slides out and you can empty it in seconds. I also like the fact that the water container can be removed almost like a jug and filled under the tap – great.

I got this machine 17/5/25 and first impressions are excellent, it really takes the hard work out of making a coffee. Have had many machines; this has to be the BEST machine that I have had. The grind is really easy to do and the milk frothing part is so much easier and better than other machines. NINJA, you have totally outdone yourselves with this FABULOUS machine. How does the built-in tamper work?

When the coffee is ground into the portafilter you pull down the lever and it is pressed into an even puck. No separate tamper needed.

Yes, the froth system works with both dairy and plant-based milks.

Description

Pull a lever and the coffee is tamped – on Luxe Café Pro the tamper is built in. Grinder and scale are built in too, so you go from whole beans to an even puck without moving the portafilter.

The machine makes espresso, filter coffee and cold brew. Choose from 13 espresso styles – espresso, ristretto and lungo as single, double and quad, americano and cold pressed – four coffee styles and seven sizes from 175 to 530 ml.

Barista Assist suggests grind and dose and detects which basket you use. Prefer to be in charge? The grinder has 25 settings.

The extra-large froth jug steams and whisks at once with five presets, from steamed milk to cold foam, with dairy or plant-based milk. The steam wand cleans itself inside.
