Ninja Luxe Café MINI Plus espresso machine with grinder

★★★★★Brilliant piece of kit

I've been really impressed with this Ninja Luxe Café Mini Plus. I wanted a coffee maker that could do more than basic coffee, but I didn't want something that felt too complicated. This one gives me a nice balance of convenience and café-style results at home. I really like that it has everything built in, including the grinder, scale, espresso options, filter coffee and frothing system. It saves space because I don't need a bunch of separate tools on the counter. The Barista Assist feature is also helpful because it takes a lot of the guesswork out of making espresso. The frother is probably one of my favourite parts. It makes it easy to make lattes and cappuccinos, and I like that I can make different types of drinks depending on what I'm in the mood for. I've also enjoyed being able to make both hot and iced coffee with the same machine. It looks really nice on the counter too. It has a premium look without being too bulky. There is a little learning curve at first, especially if you're new to espresso machines, but once you get used to it, it feels pretty simple. Overall, I'm really happy with it. It makes my morning coffee routine feel more fun, and I like having so many drink options in one machine. I'd definitely recommend it to someone who wants café-style drinks at home without buying a bunch of separate equipment.

Really impressed with my coffee machine. It's simple to use, does everything in the one machine and – most importantly – makes a cracking cup of coffee. I love how it calibrates to get the right grinding settings for different beans, and that you can choose between plant and dairy milk for the frothing. It has good indicators that tell you when things need topping up or emptying, and it doesn't take up much worktop space, which is ideal for a smaller kitchen. Love it!

★★★★★Fantastic coffee machine

Had this for a month as a replacement for an ageing pod machine. I'm not a coffee expert, but I do enjoy my daily latte or cappuccino. The machine has been fabulous. I have a fairly small kitchen, so the reduced footprint was welcome. It's quick, taking the same amount of time to produce a double shot cappuccino as my last machine. With the grind assistance it's easy to produce consistent coffee. Only niggle would be the drip tray fills very quickly, after four or five drinks, and the water tank empties pretty quickly.

We were hesitant about buying an espresso machine, but the Ninja Mini Plus is easy to master and we now enjoy real-tasting coffee instead of the capsules we found tasteless by comparison. The bonus is that the small footprint of the Mini Plus means it takes up very little space compared with other coffee machines in our relatively small kitchen.
