I received the Ninja AutoBarista a couple of weeks ago. When I got it, it looked really complicated to put together, but to my surprise it was easy to do following the instructions, or scan the QR code and watch the video. The grind of the bean is quiet. We love how easy it is to make a great cup of coffee. I have had to try different strengths of coffee beans until I found the right consistency. I love the cold brew coffees and lattes, they taste just as good as the coffee shop versions. My favourite is the cappuccinos, I love the froth I make to go on top, my partner's is the espresso. So if you are looking for an amazing coffee machine that's easy to use, then the Ninja AutoBarista machine is the one for you.

No more buying a coffee and saying "it's ok" – I can now make a coffee to my desired taste, with options for the heat of the water and the strength of the coffee, 1–3 shots. You can even choose how you like your milk, from steamed milk to cold foam or full froth, for dairy and plant-based options, with 4 preset programmes. I feel like a barista! Don't worry about what coffee beans to use, as it features Grind IQ technology which monitors every coffee bean for the perfect cup. It automatically adjusts the grind size, doses by weight and even knows how fresh the beans are. It consistently produces the perfect coffee, from a cappuccino, latte or americano to a cold brew or iced latte. Product FAQ

Do I need to know anything about coffee?

No. According to Ninja the machine sets grind, dose and brew for your beans by itself. On first use and when you change beans it runs a calibration, which uses some beans.

Does it work with oat milk?

Yes, the froth function is made for both dairy and plant-based milks.

How big is it?

About 45.3 cm deep, 26.9 cm wide and 40.2 cm high. Measure under your wall cabinets before ordering.

How do I look after it?

The steam wand cleans itself after every froth and an automatic rinse removes coffee grounds. The removable parts are dishwasher safe. Change the water filter and descale as the manual says.

Press one button for a cappuccino, a cortado or a glass of cold brew – without weighing, tamping or frothing yourself. AutoBarista grinds the beans, doses by weight and brews, and froths the milk while you get the cup ready.

According to Ninja, Grind iQ sets the grind for the beans you use, and brewing adjusts temperature and pressure. Choose from 10 drink programs and four froth settings, from steamed milk to cold foam – with dairy or oat and other plant-based milks.

Save your favourites in two user profiles with strength, size, temperature and froth. Brew Two makes two espresso shots at once, handy on a busy morning.

The bean hopper holds 250 g. The steam wand cleans itself after every froth, an automatic rinse program does the rest and the removable parts are dishwasher safe.
