No. Each vase is mouth-blown by hand, so small bubbles, shifts in colour and variations in shape are part of the craft – not flaws.

Description

Unda combines Iittala’s glassmaking tradition with designer Sabine Marcelis’s language of form, inspired by Finnish light and how the sun meets water. The vase is mouth-blown at the Iittala glassworks in Finland.

It comes in 250 and 400 mm and three colours: Dawn (Gryning), Dusk (Skymning) and Shadow (Skugga). The larger vase is a limited edition of 500 pieces according to Iittala. Fill it with flowers or let it stand as a sculpture.
