I am very pleased with my new Dyson. I wanted an upright, cordless, easy to assemble cleaner, and this achieves all these, plus it also has an attachment to wash the floor as well! How long does the battery last?
Up to 60 minutes according to Dyson, depending on mode and head. Charging takes about 3.5 hours and the battery can be swapped.
Does the Submarine head fit my old V12?
No. According to Dyson the Submarine head only works with this version, which is programmed to switch between wet and dry cleaning.
How do I clean the Submarine head?
Remove the roller, rinse it after use and let it dry. Dyson recommends cleaning it after every wet clean.
Does the vacuum suck up water?
No, only the Submarine head is used for wet cleaning. It has its own tank for dirty water, so no water ends up in the dust bin.
How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?

Description
A slim cordless vacuum that also washes hard floors. The Submarine head has a motorised microfibre roller that wipes away spills and stains with clean water – in the kitchen, the bathroom and under the dining table.
A piezo sensor counts dust particles and adjusts power, and the LCD screen shows mode, remaining time and what's being picked up. According to Dyson the motor delivers up to 140 air watts and the battery lasts up to 60 minutes; the battery clicks in and can be swapped.
For carpets there's the Motorbar head, and for the sofa and car a hair screw tool with a conical brush against tangles. The box also includes a combination tool and an LED-lit crevice tool for dark gaps.
