Refilling without fuss
Pour water on top of the unit – it stops taking water when it's full, so nothing overflows.
Moisture that evaporates
The fan blows room air over the wet filter. The moisture evaporates and isn't visible, and the water isn't heated.
A clean, simple shape
Ovi has a soft, round shape and a discreet light in the base that shows the water level.
Product FAQ
What humidity should I aim for?
Indoors, 40–60 % relative humidity usually feels comfortable. With the radiators on in winter, indoor air can drop to 20–30 %. Set the level you want and let the humidity sensor do the work – above 60 % is rarely needed and can cause condensation on cold windows.
How often do I change the filter?
The filter lasts up to six months. New filters are sold separately by Duux.
Does it get hot? Can it stand in a child's room?
No, the water isn't heated. Place it steadily where children can't tip it over.
Are scented oils included?
No. Scented oils aren't sold here. Only use the aroma compartment or pad as the manual describes – never pour oil into the water tank unless the manufacturer explicitly says you can.
How do I clean it?
Empty the water and let the parts dry when you're not using it. Clean the tank and filter about once a week as the manual describes – with water and a soft brush, and descale when needed. Never leave old water standing for days.
How fast will it arrive, and can I change my mind?
Delivery options and times are on our Delivery page. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a 3-year right to complain – see the Returns page.
Description
An evaporative humidifier with a minimalist design. The fan blows air over a wet filter so the water evaporates naturally – cool evaporation with no visible mist.
Ovi has two settings, 100 and 200 ml an hour, and suits rooms up to 30 m². The 2-litre tank lasts up to 10 hours. You pour water in on top, and it stops taking water when the container is full so it doesn't overflow.
The ambient light in the base glows blue when the tank is full and red when it's almost empty. A water filter lasting up to six months is included and easy to replace. The noise level is under 37 dB(A).
