Sees what is on the floor
Two fisheye cameras and a wide-angle solid-state LiDAR work together. ROMO drives under the sofa, around chair legs and past charging cables, and works even when the room is dark.
Sweeps first, mops after
ROMO never mops before sweeping. In kitchen and bathroom mode the mops are washed straight afterwards, and in the pet corner it drives more slowly with more suction.
A base station that does the work
Four water jets and 12 N of downforce wash the mops, a 16 mm drain handles dirt and hair, and dust is emptied with dampened noise – up to approx. 80 % quieter according to DJI.

What is the difference between ROMO S, ROMO A and ROMO P?
All three have the same core performance with 25,000 Pa, high-pressure washing and extending arms. ROMO S is all white. ROMO A has a transparent robot and white base station, and ROMO P is fully transparent with extra features such as a floor deodoriser and UV light.
Can it handle thresholds?
For thresholds up to 4 cm there is the DJI ROMO Auxiliary Ramp as an accessory.
How does the camera work in the app?
You can view remote video in DJI Home. It requires two-step login and can be switched off completely whenever you like.

Description
DJI ROMO S vacuums and mops in the same run and looks after itself in the base station. It navigates with two fisheye cameras and a solid-state LiDAR and detects obstacles at millimetre level – even thin cards and cables – so it can drive safely under furniture and in low light.
Suction is up to 25,000 Pa according to DJI. Dual anti-tangle main brushes and two side brushes pick up the dust first, and extending arms reach out into edges and corners. ROMO recognises scattered debris such as cat litter, slows down to avoid spreading it and increases suction where needed.
The 164 ml water tank keeps the mops evenly damp, and the mops and brush can lift automatically over rugs. The base station washes the mops with four water jets and 12 N of downforce, dries them and empties the dust with dampened noise.
In the DJI Home app you set up schedules, zones and no-go areas and save maps for several floors. Remote video requires two-step login and can be switched off completely. ROMO S is all white, both robot and base station.
