Product FAQ

Can I take it on a plane?

No. At 1,008 Wh the power station is far above airlines' limit for lithium batteries in luggage (normally 100 Wh, up to 160 Wh with the airline's approval). It may travel neither in hand luggage nor in checked baggage.

What battery does it have?

LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells with 1,008 Wh capacity.

Can I charge it with solar panels?

Yes, the 400 W MPPT module is built in, so solar panels can be connected directly.

How does it differ from Power 1000 V2?

Power 1000 Mini is smaller and has built-in car and solar charging plus a retractable USB-C cable. Power 1000 V2 has 1,024 Wh, 2,600 W AC output and can be expanded with extra batteries.

Description

DJI Power 1000 Mini is a portable power station with 1,008 Wh in a compact format. It is made for camping, road trips, van life and photo jobs in the field – and as backup power at home.

It charges from 0 to 80 % in 58 minutes according to DJI. In the car you charge via the built-in 400 W car charging module, and outdoors via solar panels with the built-in 400 W MPPT module.

A retractable 100 W USB-C cable sits right in the station, so you charge your phone, tablet or laptop without hunting for cables, and several outputs let you charge several things at once. UPS mode switches over in 10 ms if the power goes.

The battery uses LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells, and the station works up to 5,000 m altitude according to DJI.
