Do I need to register or get a drone licence?
DJI Mavic 3 Pro is class C2. You must register as a drone operator with the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen), label the drone with your operator ID and pass the online A1/A3 training and test. To fly close to people in the A2 subcategory you also need the A2 certificate of competency. Always follow the open-category rules: max 120 m altitude and visual line of sight. Always check where you may fly, for example near airports and in nature reserves, and respect other people's privacy when filming.
Which controller is included?
DJI RC, a light controller with a built-in screen, so you do not need to use your phone. A spare pair of control sticks is included.
Can I get an even wider view?
Yes, with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro wide-angle lens (sold separately) the main camera's field of view goes from 81.5° to 101°, equivalent to 15.4 mm.
How much storage does it have?
Mavic 3 Pro has 8 GB of internal storage. For longer recordings you use a memory card.
Can I take the batteries on a plane?
The batteries are lithium batteries (DJI Mavic 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery). Under 100 Wh they can normally travel in hand luggage, but not in checked baggage. Discharge them to about 30 %, protect the terminals and always check your airline's rules before you travel.

Description
DJI Mavic 3 Pro has three cameras on the same gimbal: a 24 mm main camera with a 4/3-inch sensor, a 70 mm medium tele and a 166 mm tele. You switch focal length with a tap on the screen instead of moving the drone – wide over the valley, then closer in on the cabin and finally a detail on the roof.
The main camera takes 20 MP RAW stills and films in 5.1K/50 fps or DCI 4K/120 fps with up to 12.8 stops of dynamic range according to DJI. The medium tele takes 48 MP and the tele camera gives 7x optical zoom; both film in 4K/60 fps. With 10-bit D-Log and D-Log M you have plenty of room in post.
Obstacle sensors in all directions and Advanced RTH bring the drone home if the signal drops. Waypoint Flight lets you repeat exactly the same route, and Cruise Control gives smooth, long passes. Flight time is up to 43 minutes per battery and O3+ gives video transmission up to 15 km (FCC).
