One flight, many clips
Because everything around the drone is recorded, you can make a wide landscape clip, a close-up and a vertical version for your phone from the same take. You do not need to guess the angle before take-off.
Built to fly close
The propellers sit inside an integrated guard, and all-round obstacle sensing helps you when you follow a subject through a more complex environment. That makes it easier to get started even if you are new to FPV.
Choose your kit
With RC 2 you get the drone, the controller with a screen and one battery. The Fly More Combo adds two batteries, a two-way charging hub and a shoulder bag. The Motion Fly More Combo instead has DJI Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3 for the FPV feel.

Do I need to register or get a drone licence?
DJI Avata 360 is class C1. You must register as a drone operator with the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen), label the drone with your operator ID and pass the agency's online A1/A3 training and test before you fly. Follow the open-category rules: max 120 m altitude, visual line of sight and never over crowds. Always check where you may fly, for example near airports and in nature reserves, and respect other people's privacy when filming.
What is the difference between the kits?
With RC 2: Avata 360, DJI RC 2, one battery, gimbal protector, two pairs of spare propellers, screwdriver, foldable landing pad, lens cloth and USB-C cable. Fly More Combo (RC 2): the same but with three batteries, a two-way charging hub and a shoulder bag. Motion Fly More Combo: DJI Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3 with wrist strap instead of RC 2, plus three batteries, charging hub and shoulder bag.
Does the drone show in the 360° image?
No. According to DJI, Avata 360 is invisible in your 360° footage.
What if the lens gets scratched?
The front lens is replaceable. A replacement lens kit lets you swap it yourself at home.
Can I take the batteries on a plane?
The batteries are lithium batteries (DJI Avata 360 Intelligent Flight Battery). Under 100 Wh they can normally travel in hand luggage, but not in checked baggage. Discharge them to about 30 %, protect the terminals and always check your airline's rules before you travel.

Description
DJI Avata 360 films everything around it at once. In 360° mode it records 8K/60 fps HDR and takes 120 MP photos at up to 16K, and afterwards you choose which framing to show – so you can make several clips from the same flight and never miss the shot. The drone does not appear in the image.
If you want a classic drone shot you switch to single-lens mode and film in 4K/60 fps. The sensor is 1-inch equivalent with 2.4 μm pixels for better images in low light.
An integrated propeller guard, all-round obstacle sensing in 360° mode and a forward LiDAR sensor make it safer when the pace picks up. ActiveTrack 360° follows the subject and Spotlight Free helps you get share-ready clips.
According to DJI it flies for up to 23 minutes and O4+ gives a 1080p/60 fps live view at up to 20 km. 42 GB of built-in storage holds about 30 minutes of 8K 360° video, and over Wi-Fi 6 you move the files to your phone. You can replace the front lens yourself.
