Product FAQ
Do I need to register or get a drone licence?
DJI Avata 2 is class C1. You must register as a drone operator with the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen), label the drone with your operator ID and pass the agency's online A1/A3 training and test before you fly. Follow the open-category rules: max 120 m altitude, visual line of sight and never over crowds. Always check where you may fly, for example near airports and in nature reserves, and respect other people's privacy when filming.
What is the difference between the kits?
Drone only: Avata 2, one battery, two pairs of propellers, screws, a screwdriver, a gimbal protector and a USB-C cable – you need your own compatible goggles and controller. The Fly Smart Combo adds DJI Goggles N3, RC Motion 3 and an OTG cable, with one or three batteries; the three-battery version also has a two-way charging hub and a sling bag. The Fly More Combo adds DJI Goggles 3 with extra padding and corrective lenses, RC Motion 3 and an OTG cable.
Can others see what I see?
Yes. With DJI Goggles 3 you can stream the live view to a phone with the DJI Fly app, so friends can follow the flight.
Do I have to fly manually?
No. With RC Motion 3 you steer by pointing your hand, and manual control is an option for those who want to learn more.
Can I take the batteries on a plane?
The batteries are lithium batteries (DJI Avata 2 Intelligent Flight Battery 2150 mAh). Under 100 Wh they can normally travel in hand luggage, but not in checked baggage. Discharge them to about 30 %, protect the terminals and always check your airline's rules before you travel.

Description
DJI Avata 2 is a ready-to-fly FPV drone: you put on the goggles and see the world from the drone's point of view, and with the RC Motion 3 motion controller you steer by tilting your hand. The propeller guard is built in, so it can fly near trees, walls and people more calmly than a regular FPV drone.
The camera has a 1/1.3-inch sensor and an ultra-wide lens with a 155° field of view, and you can switch to wide or normal mode. It films in 4K/60 fps HDR with 10-bit D-Log M, and RockSteady and HorizonSteady keep the image steady and the horizon level even in tight turns.
At the push of a button Avata 2 does a flip, a roll or a 180° drift – acrobatics that otherwise take a lot of practice. According to DJI it flies for up to 23 minutes per battery and O4 transmission reaches 13 km with low latency. 46 GB of built-in storage holds about 90 minutes of 4K/60 fps.
Drone only suits you if you already have goggles and a controller. The Fly Smart Combo has DJI Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3, and the Fly More Combo has DJI Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3.
