In the water, for real
Ultra 4 handles swimming, snorkelling, diving and high-speed water sports. The depth gauge and water temperature sensor show how deep and cold it is, and the Ocean Band stretches over a wetsuit.
Find your way back
The compass shows bearing, incline, elevation and coordinates. You can save waypoints, backtrack along your GPS route and create routes on offline maps.
Charges quickly
According to Apple, 15 minutes of charging gives up to 18 hours of normal use, and the battery reaches 80% in about 45 minutes.

Which band is included?
A translucent black Ocean Band with a titanium buckle matching the case. One size fits 130–200 mm wrists. An extension for a wetsuit is sold separately.
Which other bands fit?
Bands for 46 and 49 mm fit Ultra 4 according to Apple's compatibility, such as Alpine Loop, Trail Loop and Ocean Band.
Can I dive with it?
Ultra 4 is EN13319 certified for recreational diving to 40 metres. It does not replace training or other dive equipment.
Do I need a plan?
Ultra 4 has GPS + Cellular. For calls and data without an iPhone you need a watch plan from your carrier; without it, it works like a GPS model.
Which iPhone do I need?
According to Apple, Apple Watch Ultra 4, Series 12 and SE 3 require an iPhone 11 or later with iOS 27 or later. Apple Watch only works with iPhone.
Does the watch make diagnoses?
The watch does not replace a medical assessment. The health features work as Apple describes them; some require an iPhone and may vary by country. Contact a healthcare provider if you have symptoms.

Description
Apple Watch Ultra 4 is built for long days outdoors – mountain hikes, running, cycling and diving. The case is grade 5 titanium, 49 mm, with flat sapphire glass and GPS + Cellular.
The watch comes with a translucent black Ocean Band, with a buckle in the same titanium finish as the case. The Ocean Band is moulded silicone, stretches for fit and fits 130–200 mm wrists.
According to Apple the battery lasts up to 50 hours of normal use and up to 84 hours in Low Power Mode. The display reaches up to 3000 nits, and the customisable Action button, the siren and dual-frequency GPS are made for the outdoors.
Ultra 4 is water resistant to 100 metres under ISO 22810:2010, EN13319 certified for recreational diving to 40 metres and tested to MIL-STD 810H.
