Into the water
Series 12 is water resistant to 50 metres under ISO 22810:2010, so you can swim in a pool or open water. The watch counts lengths, strokes and distance, and has a depth gauge to 6 metres and a water temperature sensor.
For the run and the gym
Custom workouts, heart rate zones, VO2 max, cadence and running power are built in. GPS records your route even when your phone stays at home.
Battery for a whole day
Apple states up to 24 hours of normal use and up to 38 hours in Low Power Mode. 15 minutes of charging gives up to 12 hours of normal use according to Apple.

Which band size should I choose?
The Sport Band comes in one size. 42 mm: S/M fits 130–180 mm wrists and M/L 150–200 mm. 46 mm: S/M 140–190 mm and M/L 160–210 mm. Measure around your wrist with a tape measure.
Can I change the band?
Yes. Apple bands for 42 mm fit the 42 mm case and bands for 46 mm fit the 46 mm case. You will find them in our watch band category.
What is the difference between GPS and Cellular?
The GPS model needs your iPhone nearby (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi) for calls, messages and notifications – the built-in GPS still records distance and route during workouts. With Cellular you can call, message and stream music without your iPhone, but it needs a watch plan from your carrier.
Which iPhone do I need?
According to Apple, Apple Watch Ultra 4, Series 12 and SE 3 require an iPhone 11 or later with iOS 27 or later. Apple Watch only works with iPhone.
Does the watch make diagnoses?
The watch does not replace a medical assessment. The health features work as Apple describes them; some require an iPhone and may vary by country. Contact a healthcare provider if you have symptoms.

Description
Apple Watch Series 12 is the watch for you who want workouts, notifications, Apple Pay and sleep tracking on your wrist – in aluminium, titanium or ceramic. You choose the case, the size (42 or 46 mm) and whether it is GPS or GPS + Cellular.
The watch comes with a black Sport Band. The box contains one band size, so you choose S/M or M/L when you order. The band is easy to swap for other Apple bands of the same width.
The display is an always-on Retina display with up to 2000 nits peak brightness. Aluminium cases have Ceramic Shield 2, titanium and ceramic cases have sapphire glass. The watch is water resistant to 50 metres under ISO 22810:2010 and dust resistant to IP6X.
According to Apple the battery lasts up to 24 hours of normal use and up to 38 hours in Low Power Mode. Fast charging gives up to 80% in about 30 minutes with the included magnetic fast charging cable.
