Swedish layout. The keyboard is sold here in the Swedish version only.

Does Touch ID work with every Mac?

Touch ID requires a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 15.1 or later.

Can I use it with iPad?

Apple also lists iPad and iPhone as compatible for typing; Touch ID only works with Mac.

Description

Magic Keyboard with Touch ID gives you a wireless keyboard where you log in, unlock and approve purchases with your finger – for Mac computers with Apple silicon.

The keys are precise and comfortable to type on, and according to Apple the built-in battery lasts a month or more per charge. The keyboard pairs automatically with your Mac via the braided USB-C cable, which is also used for charging.
