Closed, iPhone Duo works like a regular phone with a 5.4-inch display. Open it when you want to read, watch a film, answer email or have two apps side by side on 7.6 inches.
Cameras that make use of the fold
With Duo Preview a live preview appears on the outer display, so the person you photograph can get the pose right. Smart Take snaps the photo automatically when everyone is ready, so you can be in it too.
Thin and durable
Open, iPhone Duo is 5.2 mm thin. The body is titanium, the front has Ceramic Shield 2 and the phone meets IP68.

Is a charger included?
No, the box contains the phone and a USB-C charge cable. A power adapter is sold separately.
Can I use a regular SIM card?
No, iPhone Duo has eSIM only. You can have two active eSIMs. Check that your carrier offers eSIM.
Does it have Face ID?
No, iPhone Duo unlocks with Touch ID in the side button.
Does Apple Pencil work?
Yes, iPhone Duo supports Apple Pencil (USB-C), sold separately.
Are there cases for it?
Yes, Apple makes an iPhone Duo Case and an iPhone Duo Folio with kickstand. Regular iPhone cases don't fit.
Is it water resistant?
It meets IP68 under IEC 60529 (max 6 metres for up to 30 minutes). Liquid damage is not always covered, so avoid swimming with it.

Description
iPhone Duo is Apple's foldable iPhone. Closed it is a slim phone with a 5.4-inch outer display; open it becomes a 7.6-inch screen for films, reading, email and split view. It suits you if you want a phone and a small tablet in one device.
Both displays are Super Retina XDR with ProMotion up to 120 Hz, and the inner display has nano-texture for fewer reflections. The body is titanium, the front has Ceramic Shield 2 and the phone is rated IP68. Open it is 5.2 mm thin and it weighs 254 grams.
The camera system has a 48 MP Fusion main camera with 2× telephoto and a 48 MP ultra wide. With Duo Preview the person you photograph sees themselves on the outer display. The chip is the A20 Pro, and you unlock with Touch ID in the side button.
According to Apple the battery lasts up to 24 hours of typical use. iPhone Duo supports Apple Pencil (USB-C) and uses eSIM only.
