The main camera has a variable aperture, so you can choose between maximum light and deeper focus. The telephoto gives 4× optical zoom and 8× at optical quality – close enough for distant portraits and architectural details.
Video for people who edit

What is the difference between 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max?
Screen size, weight and battery life. iPhone 18 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch display and up to 43 hours of video playback according to Apple. Chip and cameras are the same in both. We also sell iPhone 18 Pro.
Is a charger included?
No, the box contains the phone and a USB-C charge cable. A power adapter is sold separately.
Which storage should I choose?
256 GB is enough for most people. If you shoot a lot of 4K, ProRes or Apple Log 2 video, it takes a lot of space – choose 1 TB or 2 TB.
Do MagSafe accessories work?
Yes. It has MagSafe and charges wirelessly at up to 25 W with MagSafe or Qi2 chargers.
Is it water resistant?
It meets IP68 under IEC 60529 (max 6 metres for up to 30 minutes). Liquid damage is not always covered, so avoid swimming with it.

Description
iPhone 18 Pro Max is Apple's pro phone with a 6.9-inch display, the A20 Pro chip and three 48 MP Fusion cameras. It suits you if you shoot a lot of photos and video, play demanding games or simply want the biggest screen and longest battery life in the line-up.
The camera system has a main camera with variable aperture (ƒ/1.48–ƒ/4.0), an ultra wide and a 4× optical telephoto. Together they give a 16× optical-quality zoom range, from macro to 8× telephoto. Video records in 4K Dolby Vision at up to 120 fps, and ProRes RAW and Apple Log 2 are there if you edit yourself.
The display is a Super Retina XDR with ProMotion up to 120 Hz, the Dynamic Island and an Always-On display. The body is an aluminium unibody with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and IP68. According to Apple the battery lasts up to 43 hours of video playback.
With Camera Control on the side you adjust exposure, zoom and depth with a finger. The USB-C port supports USB 3 (up to 10 Gb/s), and MagSafe and Qi2 charge wirelessly at up to 25 W.
